Take Control of the Stress

Stress might be an unavoidable part of modern life, but these days, many women besieged by it. We can get easliy stress even from doing reguler activity like cooking or driving. Off course, some times it all depend with the situations that you are involve in, for example ; you are good in cooking, but if you must cook few variations of food for 100 people, stress may caught you out, just like that. And if you are not able to overcome the stress, you need to be careful, because your stress level may increase to upper level stress called acute stress.
During acute stress, your body experiences the flight-or-fight response. This reaction is a primal when we feel the stress came in form of live and death situations. In this stage your brain prepare you to either run for your life or stay and fight, your body releases hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol, which cause your breathing and heart to accelerate your blood pressure to rise and your muscles to contract. How ever, the physcal effects of this are helpful if you have to fend off an attacker and to protect your self from any danger.
Althought a bit of stress can be a good thing, it also can lead to bad habits which then perpetuate the feeling. Fortunately, there are healthy ways to de-stress. First, boost your  resilience to stress by taking better care your body, like eating reguler healthy meals,drinking plenty of water and less caffeine, also getting enough sleep.
Second, try to changing the thought patterns that happen during the stressful situation. Stop asking “ what if? “ andtaking things personalty or imagining negative scenario. And start to question your thoughts; are you jumping to conclusions? What’s another way of looking at it? Is it really such a big deal? If you regularly challenge your negative thoughts, it will become second nature over time.
The next trick is to calm down. One way to calm down when things going crazy is to inhale through your nostrils very slowly, then exhale. Repeat for several times. Or you can close your eyes and imagine yourself in a place that you find peaceful such as white sandy beach with a peace blue ocean.
